Frequently asked questions

Can I collect shipping or delivery details?

Yes. An order form is still a form — add address fields, a date picker for delivery or pickup, phone number, or any of the 50+ field types alongside your products. Everything arrives together in one submission.

Does FormBuilder track my inventory?

No. Order forms don't manage stock levels or automatically close when a product sells out. If you sell limited quantities, watch your orders in the real-time dashboard and close the form manually or with a scheduling deadline.

Does it calculate tax or VAT automatically?

No. There is no automatic tax calculation — most sellers either include tax in their product prices or add a clearly labeled tax line as a separate product. Total amounts are always shown to the buyer before they pay.

How do coupons work?

Create discount codes that take a percentage or a fixed amount off the order total. Each code can have a usage cap and can be deactivated at any time. Discounts are validated and applied on the server, so codes can't be abused.

Which currencies and payment methods are supported?

Payments run on Stripe through your own account, with 85+ currencies. Buyers can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and — where Stripe offers it — buy-now-pay-later options. Available methods appear automatically based on the buyer's device and location.

How do refunds work?

Since payments go directly into your own Stripe account, you issue refunds from your Stripe dashboard like any other charge — full or partial. FormBuilder never holds your funds, so there's no middleman in the refund process.
