This policy explains how FormBuilder collects, uses, and protects your data when you create an account or use our services. Your privacy is one of our fundamental commitments, and we take the utmost care to process your personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.

We collect your personal information directly from you when you register to use FormBuilder, sign up for a free trial, contact us via our website, submit a support ticket, or send us an email. This includes your name, email address, and any other information you provide during signup. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device information. We do not use form response data other than as described in this policy without our customers' consent. Personal information that a form responder includes in a form belongs to the responder, unless the responder has granted rights in that information to the form owner. We do not sell customers' form data, nor do we make it available to third parties without the customer's permission.

We use your information to provide and improve our services, process transactions, send service-related communications, respond to support requests, and ensure the security of your account. We may also use anonymized, aggregated data to analyze usage trends and improve our platform. When you use our AI-powered features (such as AI form generation), your prompts and form-related content are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic processes this data solely to generate a response and does not use it to train AI models. No form response data or personal information of your respondents is sent to AI providers.

FormBuilder integrates with Google services to provide features such as Google Forms Import and Google Sheets sync. This section describes how we handle data received from Google APIs, in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

When you connect your Google account, FormBuilder accesses the following data: your Google Forms (form structure, questions, and settings), existing form responses, and Google Sheets spreadsheets you select for integration. We also receive your Google account email address and profile name for authentication purposes.

Google Forms data is used solely to import your forms and responses into FormBuilder so you can manage them on our platform. Google Sheets data is used solely to sync your form submissions to the spreadsheet you choose. Your Google account information is used only to authenticate your connection. We do not use Google user data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the features you explicitly enable.

We do not share, sell, or transfer Google user data to any third parties. Google data stays within your FormBuilder account and is only accessible by you and your workspace members. The only exception is infrastructure providers (such as our hosting and database services) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements, solely to operate the platform.

Google user data is stored in encrypted databases using AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit. Access to Google user data is restricted to authorized systems only — employee access is limited on a strict need-to-know basis and requires authentication. We conduct regular security reviews and maintain access logs to protect your data.

Imported Google Forms data is retained in your FormBuilder account for as long as you keep it. You can delete any imported form or its responses at any time from your dashboard. When you disconnect your Google account or delete your FormBuilder account, all associated Google user data is permanently deleted from all systems, including backups, within 30 days. You can also request deletion of your Google data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
FormBuilder does not use Google user data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Our AI features use the Anthropic Claude API for processing and do not send any Google user data to AI providers.

We retain your information for as long as you have an account with us, or as long as necessary to provide services to you, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems. Data removed from our servers may remain as residual copies on backup media for up to approximately one month afterward.
